Overview

GPS Source’s GLI-METRO-G Smart Amplifier serves the GNSS spectrum. It receives and controls the power of output depending on whether GLONASS only, GPS only or GLONASS and GPS are chosen.

Being a smart amplifier, GLI-METRO-G is suitable for use in the public and commercial fields. Used together with an antenna that receives GLONASS/GPS signals, it passes information through any structure, like building or hangar, which normally blocks a signal. It also performs well in a shielded room or automated test environment where a GNSS signal is needed.

Applications include manufacturing test cells, aircraft hangars, anechoic chambers, automated test environments, and research/development facilities.

The device allows users to control power between signals for each of the operating modes: GLONASS only, GPS only or GLONASS and GPS together. This minimizes the requirement for multiple antenna runs and various antenna receiver units, which reduces installation and maintenance costs.
